So here’s the pros and cons of my new big fat green board,
Standing on it is like standing on land, very easy.
Paddling on it is easy.
To keep surfing a wave for longer is easy.
Dropping in straight on a wave even with your weight back it will dig in and nose dive, it’s a fairly straight plank of a board, with only a slight turn up on the nose.
If you want to drop in you need to start angled/turned in slightly from the start, but even ten you can’t do that too much or Ye whole board just rolls.
It’s mostly designed for already broken froth waves, but you can drop in if you get used to it for a while and just turn it slightly off centre. It has its limits!
