https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gds-PJ0TFJE Not a single wave was had until the battery ran out on the Go-Pro!
Only got one wave today, was busy at north end due to cleaner conditions, so Benjamin and myself ate shit down the south and middle, and when my go pro ran out of batteries is when we finally caught some waves. Conditions were pretty shit-house but it was still fun to be out there. I'll put some … Continue reading Crap Conditions
Small, and under 1 foot mostly, little push, the surf has been weak recently. I don't mind small surf just need some more intensity in the force of the waves. Waiting on my new go pro mount because the other one I bit right through it. Probably getting a DJI Mavic Pro Platinum drone also … Continue reading Small Surf.
I would have thought being Autumn and cooler air, that people would go away and I'd have more room to surf, but that does not seem to be the case at Maroubra. Expert surfers hog the smallest and largest waves year round it seems. Making it tough as a beginner to progress. I will have … Continue reading When will it settle down
Had the Shark alarm today at Cronulla, I didn't see a Shark but I think I saw a seal in the waves. But perhaps it was the shark.... Who knows. Glad I didn't get bitten!
2 foot and occasional 3 foot down the South end of Maroubra today, but I was only surfing there due to the human infested waters up the North-end, you couldn't drop in any direction without having to dodge 100 people. I just settled for rubbish close-outs down the South and Middle for 2 hours, hoping … Continue reading Over-Crowded.
This morning 3 foot and occasional 4 foot, all close-outs. Board snapping surf, I gave up on them, spent about 3hours just getting wiped out and battling seaweed on the way back out, like the most sea-weed I've ever seen, blankets from north to south, not at one end like usual. There were some advanced … Continue reading Bad Surf
2-3 foot close outs, rubbish, board snapping waves. Paddled out a few times then after a couple of hours of shit waves, and some crappy rides and wipeouts, I went home. This is not good recently. On a good note, here is my new board, luckily I have not broken it yet.
Have not posted for a while, recently I went out and broke my brother-in-law's board. A bigger wave popped up than the 4 footers I saw from shore, and i didn't get under it properly, so the board got snapped. They advertise these boards for no bigger than like 4 ft waves, on these shitty … Continue reading SNAP!
